STRAWBERRY CUCUMBER MOJITO MOCKTAIL – This refreshing, non-alcoholic beverage is made with fresh strawberries, cucumber and mint, then mixed together with club soda and lime.
I made Strawberry Cucumber Mojito Mocktail for the first time just recently. My husband and I were asked to bring beverages to a dinner. We’re completely non-alcoholic, and I was in the mood for something a little more interesting than soda. So we tried out this recipe and decided it’s a keeper!
The instructions tell you to “muddle” the strawberries and mint. In case you’re unfamiliar, muddling is a process of mashing fruits and/or herbs in order to release their juices and oils.
Generally a tool that’s made of wood, plastic or stainless steel would be used to press down and twist slightly. This releases the flavors in the fruit and herbs.
If you don’t have a muddler on hand, you can use the back of a wooden spoon. You will want to use more pressure to muddle fruit, especially if that fruit has a rind on it. Herbs need more of a gentle touch to keep them from becoming bitter.
Here’s what you need to make Strawberry Cucumber Mojito Mocktail…
