HONEY DIJON CHICKEN TENDERS – Sweet and tangy chicken topped with fresh chives and crumbled feta cheese. This quick dish is perfect for any night of the week.
We all have those days where we’re booked solid and dinner time just sneaks up on us. Those are the nights that all you want for dinner is something fast and easy.
Honey Dijon Chicken Tenders are a much better option for those busy nights. Very few ingredients are required and the smaller pieces of chicken cook up really fast. Even faster than those ready-to-bake chicken strips that are so easy to pull out of the freezer.
Honey Dijon Chicken Tenders are also a much healthier and much more tasty option than what you might find hiding in your freezer or from ordering take-out. It’s also more budget friendly.
If you don’t have chicken tenders on hand you can always cut regular chicken breasts into smaller portions. Alternatively, you could also cook up the regular-sized chicken breasts. In that case you would just need to cook them for longer on each side to make up for the bigger size of meat.
Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days. If you happen to have extra, the chicken is great for sandwiches, on top of salads, or inside chicken quesadillas.
