EASY CHEESY PIZZA DIP – This irresistible appetizer is layered with a cream cheese mixture, pizza sauce, melty cheeses, and finally bacon and pepperoni. It’s sure to be a hit at your next gathering.
I’ve been on the lookout for savory appetizers. I tend to gravitate towards sweets most of the time, but you can’t survive on sweets alone.
Easy Cheesy Pizza Dip was an absolute hit! I got multiple compliments from my teenage son, as well as a request to make it again very soon.
I made Easy Cheesy Pizza Dip in a 9-inch pie dish. If you don’t have that on hand, you can use any dish that has a similar surface area. I wouldn’t recommend making the dip in a smaller dish, making it deeper.
I topped the dip with bacon and mini pepperoni. I think it would also be delicious topped other classic pizza toppings like sausage, ham, or olives.
This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge. When you’re ready to bake it, let it rest on the counter for about 40-45 minutes to bring it up to room temperature. Store leftovers in the fridge for 2-3 days.

- Add 3/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese, sour cream, basil, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until evenly incorporated.
- Layer the cream cheese mixture at the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate.
- Spread the pizza sauce on top of the cream cheese layer.

- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is bubbly on top.
- Top with the mini pepperoni and sliced bacon.

Notes
Sometimes pepperoni can create pools of grease on top of the dip. If this happens to you, you can use paper towels to lightly dab the top of the cheese to soak up the excess grease.
