S’MORES BROWNIES – The perfect crossover between the ever popular s’more and a classic brownie. This simple, yet delectable treat will leave you wanting more!
Here’s what you need
- Graham cracker crumbs
- Sugar
- Butter
- Recipe of Jo’s Famous Brownies
- Mini marshmallows
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Let’s get started
Start by adding the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter to a medium-sized bowl, and mix the ingredients together until evenly incorporated. Then transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 pan, spread it evenly across the bottom of the pan, and press it firmly into place. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
Next, prepare the Jo’s Famous Brownies according to directions, and pour the batter on top of the graham cracker layer. The brownie recipe calls for sprinkling chocolate chips over the top of the batter before baking, but you can skip this step. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until an inserted toothpick comes out mostly clean.

Once the brownies are finished baking, pull them out of the oven, then evenly top with the mini marshmallows and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Return the brownies to the oven and bake for an additional 3 minutes.
Cool the brownies for a least an hour before cutting into. Melted marshmallow really likes to stick to everything, so if you have time, it’s best to let the brownies cool for several hours or even overnight. If you do let them cool overnight, you can place a towel loosely over the top to keep the brownies from drying out.

Tips and Tricks
Try dark chocolate cocoa: The rich flavor of dark chocolate is a nice contrast to the marshmallows.
Make it even more simple with a brownie mix: I think my brownie recipe is fairly simple, but if you want to simplify even more, use a boxed brownie mix. You will just want to make sure the recipe is for a 9×13 pan.
