JO’S FAMOUS BROWNIES – Soft and chocolatey. These classic brownies are quick, simple and a guaranteed crowd pleaser.
During my college years, my roommates and I would frequently make boxed brownies to share with friends. It was a great way to end a long week. I mean, who doesn’t love warm, chocolatey goodness?
I came across this recipe over 20 years ago and decided to give it a try. It’s so simple and so delicious that I have never gone back to making brownies out of a box.
In fact one of my girls was at a friends house, and the idea of making brownies came up. The friend pulled out a box of brownie mix and my daughter was shocked, she didn’t even know you could make brownies out of a box!
This recipe is one of my most requested to share. It’s also a frequently requested dessert for birthdays and weekend treats.
