BUTTERBEER 2 WAYS – Inspired by the famous non-alcoholic drink from the Harry Potter books, this sweet beverage is made with cream soda, heavy whipping cream, and flavored syrups. Whether you like it hot or cold, this quick and easy recipe is sure to please!
Here’s what you need
- Heavy whipping cream
- Cream soda
- Tornani Vanilla syrup
- Tornani Butterscotch syrup
- Whipped cream for garnish
- Butterscotch flavored topping for garnish

Lets get started
If you want your butterbeer hot/warm, start but adding the heavy whipping cream, vanilla syrup, and butterscotch syrup in a microwavable mug or glass. Heat that for 1 minute. When you pull it out of the microwave, whisk it all together until it starts to become foamy.
Next you add the room temperature cream soda and carefully mix it to combine. Pour the butterbeer into 2 mugs or glasses, top them with whipped cream, add a drizzle of butterscotch flavored topping, and enjoy!

If you prefer your butterbeer cold (my personal preference) you want to make sure to chill the cream soda first. Then, you simply mix the heavy whipping cream, cream soda, vanilla syrup, and butterscotch syrup together.
Serve it up by pouring it into 2 mugs or glasses. Top the butterbeer with whipped cream and butterscotch flavored topping, and enjoy!

Tips & Tricks
Whipped topping: I always think homemade whipped cream is best, especially since it only takes a few minutes to make. But if you don’t have the time or supplies, store bought works just as well.
Make it a theme night: Order a few packs of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans, make butterbeer (either hot or cold), and throw on your favorite Harry Potter movie or curl up with your favorite Harry Potter book.
