BUTTERMILK PEPPER DRESSING – This quick and simple dressing is delicious, yet mild enough to let your salad veggies steal the show.
Here’s what you need
- Buttermilk
- Miracle Whip
- Grated parmesan cheese (Kraft or other brand)
- Coarse grated pepper
- Garlic
- Lemon juice
- Salt
Making your own salad dressing is much easier than you might think. It’s generally very quick, and I especially love knowing that the ingredients are fresh.
Buttermilk Pepper Dressing goes well with a variety of salads. It’s perfect for salads that you want to dress up, but you want the salad ingredients to shine.
Let’s get started
You’re probably going to be spending more time gathering ingredients than it takes to actually make the dressing. The instructions really are as simple as putting all the ingredients in a bowl and whisking them together until combined and smooth.
Once the dressing is whisked together, taste and add more salt and pepper as desired. Then, transfer the dressing to a pretty glass container and chill for at least an hour. The dressing should be good for up to 2 weeks.
Tips & Tricks
Not just for salads: Buttermilk Pepper Dressing is also great as a dip for veggies!
Grated parmesan cheese: This is the kind you generally find in the dry pasta isle.
