CARAMEL TOFFEE FRUIT DIP – This simple and delicious fruit dip is made with cream cheese and brown sugar. It’s perfect on apples, strawberries and so much more.
Caramel Toffee Fruit Dip is a quick and easy addition to any party. It takes just minutes to prepare and calls for only 4 simple ingredients.
Adding some fresh produce to a party spread is always a great idea. Most people appreciate something a little more healthy to break up the sugar and calorie overload that tends to happen at parties.
I like to serve Caramel Toffee Fruit Dip with apples, strawberries and grapes. Pineapple and banana also goes well with it. If you want to offer something other than fruit, you could serve it with pretzels, vanilla wafers or shortbread.
If you’re serving the dip with apples I recommend soaking the slices in a water bath to keep them from browning. The water bath is made using the ratio of 1 tablespoon of lemon juice to every 1 cup water, using enough liquid to cover the apples completely. Let the apple slices soak for 3-5 minutes, drain and rinse. I also like to set the slices on a towel to dry for a few minutes before transferring to the serving platter.
Refrigerate any leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
