Have a party!
This dish is perfect to bring to a potluck event, but maybe the party’s at your house! Here are some ideas to make the perfect party spread.
- Something to drink: My house is non-alcoholic, so I generally start with a fun soda bar. I’ll choose several types of sodas and serve them with a few flavored syrups and creamer. If soda isn’t your jam, you can’t go wrong with lemonade or spa water.
- Something sweet: Cookies or brownies are usually my first choice for something sweet. Cakes, chocolates and candies, or chocolate mousse would also be great choices.
- Something salty: This can be as simple as a bag or two of chips. Or you can spice it up a little and serve tortilla chips with Simply Delicious Salsa, a jar of queso, or Easy Creamy Guacamole. Chex mixes are also great salty additions to a party spread.
- Something fresh: It’s always a good idea to include at least one fresh option in a party spread. This can include a platter with either fresh fruit or fresh veggies. It’s even better if you can include both! You can add a dip if you would like.

Tips and tricks
Cream Cheese: I think this dip is best adding 4 ounces of strawberry cream cheese and 4 ounces of pineapple cream cheese. If you don’t want to purchase 2 different flavors of cream cheese you can add all 8 ounces of just one of those flavors.
Fresh squeezed juices: Freshly squeezed orange and lemon juices are going to give you the best flavor, but you can alternatively use bottled juices in a pinch.
Storing: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
