CREAM-FILLED STRAWBERRIES – Fresh strawberries filled with an indulgent cream cheese mixture and topped with chocolate. Your guests will never know how quick they are to make!
I found this little recipe years ago while searching for something to add to a party spread. Cream-Filled Strawberries are so quick to make that they made the perfect addition to the menu.
It’s been my experience that they get eaten up pretty quickly. They are so delicious, I dare you to eat just one! So, if you’re serving a larger crowd I would recommend doubling the recipe.
Also, if you’re not a huge chocolate fan you can choose to leave it off. I generally love chocolate on almost anything, so I always include it.
It’s always a special treat when I make Cream-Filled Strawberries. And even though they don’t take a lot of time to make, they make any day feel like a special occasion.
Here’s what you need to make Cream-Filled Strawberries…
- Strawberries
- Cream cheese
- Sugar

CREAM-FILLED STRAWBERRIES - Fresh strawberries filled with an indulgent cream cheese mixture and topped with chocolate. Your guests will never know how quick they are to make!
Ingredients
- 2 pints strawberries, rinsed and dried
- 1 (8oz) package cream cheese, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 (10oz) package chocolate melting wafers
Instructions
- In a stand mixer beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar and almond extract on medium speed until combined and fluffy.
- Spoon mixture into a decorating bag fitted with a star tip.
- Refridgerate for an hour.
- Cut the strawberries open crosswise and lengthwise to form an "X". The cuts should be almost all the way to the stem so the strawberries can open enough to make room for the cream.
- Pipe the cream filling into the strawberries, careful to evenly distribute the cream through the center of the berry and filling in the spaces.
- Melt the chocolate wafers according to package directions.
- Load the chocolate into a quart sized zip-lock bag, squeezing the chocolate to one corner.
- Cut the corner off, about the size of the head of a pin. Squeezing the end of the bag, drizzle the chocolate over the strawberries as desired. Allow the strawberries to sit long enough for the chocolate to solidify.
- Serve immediately or refridgerate uncovered until ready to serve.
