ORANGE RICOTTA COOKIES – Soft cake-like cookies with the perfect touch of orange flavor. These deliciously simple cookies are irresistible!
Have I mentioned before how much I love to make cookies? It’s probably one of my most favorite things to make. They’re relatively simple with a high level of enjoyment.
Orange Ricotta Cookies have quickly become a family favorite. They’re soft and sweet, without being too sugary. And the orange flavor is delightful.
I like the glaze being thin enough to drip down and cover the entire cookie. However if you want it to stand up a bit more on top, feel free to make a thicker glaze.
Don’t be surprised by how quickly these cookies disappear! But if you don’t think you’ll go through 7 dozen cookies, you can portion out the dough and freeze part for later. Just place the portioned out dough on a parchment covered cookie sheet, freeze until solid, then transfer to an air tight container.
Here’s what you need to make Orange Ricotta Cookies…
- Ricotta
- White sugar
- Unsalted butter
- Egg
- Flour
- Baking powder
- Vanilla
- Orange zest
- Powdered sugar
- Milk
