OVEN-BAKED STEAK FRIES – Potatoes seasoned and baked. They’re crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. These fries are the perfect side for hamburgers, grilled chicken, and steak (of course).
I love a simple recipe that doesn’t taste simple, and Oven-Baked Steak Fries definitely fits that category. They only take a few minutes to prepare for the oven, and my family always finishes them off quickly when I make them.
I especially love side dish recipes that I can get going and forget about while I focus on the main dish. I’m not the best at juggling. The more simple I can make meal time preparations, the better.
This recipe is also a great way to use up any leftover potatoes you might have in the pantry. The recipe calls for 4 potatoes, but you can easily adjust the quantities to account for whatever number of potatoes you have on hand. Feel free to try out different seasonings in the recipe. The possibilities are endless!
We each have different favorite dipping sauces at our house, so I generally set out a few options for everyone. If you like fry sauce you can mix equal parts mayonnaise and ketchup for a simple version, then add in garlic and any additional spices you want to experiment with.
