PEANUT BUTTER TRUFFLES – These easy to make truffles have the perfect balance of creamy peanut butter to chocolatey goodness. You might have a hard time eating just one. You have been warned.
Peanut butter and chocolate are the best combination EVER! We’re huge fans of peanut butter and chocolate desserts at our house, and my family asks for me to make these often. It’s also one of my most frequently requested recipes.
The truffles are super easy to make and the recipe yields plenty to share for a gathering. They’re always a big hit at parties, and I love to make them to give to friends as a special treat.
Some truffles recipes call for chocolate chips for the shell, but I prefer to use chocolate wafers. They melt easier, harden faster, and once completely solid they don’t soften up easily at room temperature.
I recommend using a food processor to grind up the graham crackers. The secret to really smooth truffles is grinding the crackers up to a very fine texture.
Here’s what you need to make Peanut Butter Truffles…
- Peanut butter
- Powdered sugar
- Graham cracker crumbs
- Unsalted butter
- Chocolate melting wafers
