Can you hear that? My whole house is cheering because I just made this salsa. My husband is especially a HUGE fan.
It is really tasty and so easy to make. I haven’t bought jarred red salsa since adding this recipe to my collection. It’s that easy.
You can eat the salsa right away, but if you have the time I would recommend chilling it for 30-45 minutes. The flavors will really pop.
I always keep a jar of minced garlic in the fridge for recipes like this one. It’s so convenient and I have never noticed the difference. You may want to double the recipe if you’re planning to serve a large crowd, especially if you’re entertaining a lot of salsa lovers.

- Lime juice
- Garlic
- Salt
- Petite diced tomatoes

SIMPLY DELICIOUS SALSA - Fresh lime, cilantro and jalapeño give this salsa a flavor that is irresistible. It's quick, easy and sure to be your new favorite.
Ingredients
- 1/2 small onion, peeled and roughy chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
- 1 medium jalapeño, diced
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1 teaspoon salt (add more to taste)
- 1 (28 ounce) can petite diced tomatoes, drained
Instructions
- Food process the drained tomatoes and cilantro until combined.
- Add in the onion, jalapeño, lime juice, garlic and salt and blend until combined (pulse a few times for chunky salsa or blending on low speed for less chunky).
- Drain off any excess liquid in mesh strainer.
- Pour into medium-sized bowl and serve.
